Easy and fast to the Waldstätterstrasse 6/8/10

Arrival by public transport

From Zurich Airport, Geneva or Basel and from Interlaken and Zermatt to Lucerne train station

From Zurich Airport there is a direct train to Lucerne every hour. Alternatively, there is the possibility to change the train at Zurich main station. The direct train takes 1 h 2 min and with change you need 1 h 7 min.

From Geneva Airport there is also a direct train to Lucerne every hour. There is also the possibility to change in Olten once. The direct train takes 3 h 1 min, via Olten you need 2 h 50 min.

There are several trains from Basel Airport to Lucerne. In any case, you have to change trains at Basel SBB. The journey from Basel airport to Lucerne takes 1 hour 25 minutes or 1 hour 40 minutes.

From Interlaken there is also a direct train to Lucerne every hour. The Luzern-Interlaken Express takes you across a wonderful landscape to Lucerne. Especially the route between Brünig-Hasliberg and Lungern is beautiful – breathtaking views of Lake Lungern (Lungernsee) are guaranteed. The journey takes 1 h 51 min.

The easiest way to get from Zermatt to Lucerne is changing trains at Visp and Berne. Trains leave every hour and the journey takes 3 h 24 min.

From Lucerne train station to Waldstätterstrasse 6/8/10

From Lucerne train station, you can take various buses to Waldstätterstrasse. You can take bus number 4, 6, 7 or 8. The bus no. 4 departs at the edge C, the buses 6, 7 and 8 at the edge A. From the train station Lucerne you drive two stops and get off at the stop Luzern, Bundesplatz. From here you can reach the Waldstätterstrasse in a few meters.
From the bus stop, walk back a few steps (towards the train station) and then turn left onto Waldstätterstrasse. The HITrental Phone Button and the key boxes are located in the tunnel at Waldstätterstrasse 10.

Unfortunately we can not provide parking spaces. Parking in Lucerne is relatively expensive and we therefore recommend that you do not arrive by car.

Surroundings HITrental City Apartments

Would you like to know more about the environment of your apartment? No problem, just keep reading here 😉 .

The HITrental City Apartments are located in the newer part of Lucerne. In the immediate vicinity there is a Migros and a Coop supermarket. For your physical well-being, there are several restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. In the popular Café Gugelhupf on Waldstätterstrasse 6 you can have breakfast all day or in the restaurant El Divino at Winkelriedstrasse 39 you can enjoy wonderful Mexican food and excellent cocktails.
Every Saturday a market takes place on the Helvetiaplatz, just a few steps from the apartments. Here you can buy the best regional products.
Thanks to the good connection to public transport, you can reach the train station, lake, the old town and all attractions in a few minutes. Also on foot you are very fast at the hotspots of Lucerne. For example, you can reach the famous Chapel Bridge in just 10 minutes.
