Arrival by public transport

From Zurich Airport to Zurich Altstetten

There is a direct train every hour from Zurich airport to Zurich Altstetten. Alternatively, change at Zurich main station and take the S-Bahn to Zurich Altstetten. Trains leave every 10 minutes from Zurich main station and take 5 minutes to Zurich Altstetten.

From Zurich Altstetten to Buckhauserstrasse 16

There are two different options to get to the HITrental Altstetten Apartments from Zurich Altstetten train station.

Option 1: By foot to Buckhauserstrasse 16
If you want to walk from Zurich Altstetten station to the Altstetten Apartments, you have to plan about a 10 minute walk. Leave the station via Altstettenplatz in the direction of Hohlstrasse and turn into Hohlstrasse after approx. 110m. After 160m turn left onto Luggwegstrasse and walk along it to Badenerstrasse. Then turn left into Badenerstrasse and walk to Buckhauserstrasse, where you turn right and walk to house number 16.

Option 2: By bus to the bus stop Kappeli
From Zurich Altstetten station you can also take bus 89  direction of Zurich, Sihlcity and get off at Zurich, Kappeli. The bus stop is very close to the Altstetten Apartments.. You will find the Buckhauserstrasse only 150m away.

From Zurich main train station (Zurich HB) to Buckhauserstrasse 16

By tram to the tram stop Kappeli

Take tram no. 3 from the Bahnhofplatz/HB stop outside Zurich Main Station in the direction of Zürich Albisrieden.

At Stauffacher, change to tram no. 2 in the direction of Schlieren, Geissweid and get off at the Kappeli stop.

The Kappeli tram stop is very close to the Altstetten Apartments. Buckhauserstrasse is only about 150 meters away.

General information for travelers by car:
Unfortunately, we have no parking spaces at this location. Public transport in Switzerland is excellent and we recommend that you do not travel by car. If you still arrive by car, you can find more information about parking on the zuerich.com website.

Surroundings of the HITrental Altstetten Apartments

Would you like to know more about the surroundings of your apartment? No problem, just read on here 😉

Buckhauserstrasse is an ideal place to live. The apartment building in Zurich Altstetten is well connected to public transport and the lake, the city center (with Bellevue and all sights such as the Grossmünster) and the airport can be reached in a very short time. The nearest tram station is only 170m away and from there Zurich main station and the city center can be reached in only approx. 20 minutes. Zurich Altstetten station can also be reached on foot in 7 minutes. From there, there are direct trains to Zurich airport and Zurich main station.
In addition, you will find various shopping facilities, restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. The Letzipark shopping center, for example, is only 650m away. There you will find a large selection of shops such as Coop, Manor or Denner. There are also some restaurants in the Letzipark.
