How can I reach the HITrental Station Apartments?

Easy and fast to the Tribschenstrasse 24

Do you stay at our HITrental Station Apartments and you don’t know yet how to get to the Tribschenstrasse 24? No problem, we will gladly give you directions. Just follow our instructions and you can feel en route at home in your apartment soon.

Arrival by public transport

From Zurich Airport, Geneva or Basel and from Interlaken and Zermatt to Lucerne train station

From Zurich Airport there is a direct train to Lucerne every hour. Alternatively, there is the possibility to change the train at Zurich main station. The direct train takes 1 h 2 min and with change you need 1 h 7 min.

From Geneva Airport there is also a direct train to Lucerne every hour. There is also the possibility to change in Olten once. The direct train takes 3 h 1 min, via Olten you need 2 h 50 min.

There are several trains from Basel Airport to Lucerne. In any case, you have to change trains at Basel SBB. The journey from Basel airport to Lucerne takes 1 hour 25 minutes or 1 hour 40 minutes.

From Interlaken there is also a direct train to Lucerne every hour. The Luzern-Interlaken Express takes you across a wonderful landscape to Lucerne. Especially the route between Brünig-Hasliberg and Lungern is beautiful – breathtaking views of Lake Lungern (Lungernsee) are guaranteed. The journey takes 1 h 51 min.

The easiest way to get from Zermatt to Lucerne is changing trains at Visp and Berne. Trains leave every hour and the journey takes 3 h 24 min.

From Lucerne train station to Tribschenstrasse 24

From Lucerne train station, various buses drive in the direction of Tribschenstrasse. You can take bus number 6, 7 or 8. Buses run from the station from the edge A of the station. From Lucerne station you drive three stops and get off at the bus stop called Luzern, Werkhofstrasse. From here you reach the Tribschenstrasse in a few meters.
From the bus stop you first walk back a few steps (direction train station) and then turn left at the pizzeria Elios in the side street. The apartments are located in the same building as the Pizzeria Elios, but the entrance is at the back of the building.

General note for travelers by car:
Unfortunately we can not provide parking spaces. Parking in Lucerne is relatively expensive and we therefore recommend that you do not arrive by car.
If you come by car you will find an overview of the different parking possibilities on the website of Parking Luzern.

Surroundings HITrental Station Apartments

Would you like to know more about the environment of your apartment? No problem, just keep reading here 😉 .

The HITrental Station Apartments are located in the new town of Lucerne in the popular Tribschenquartier. Here you find various leisure and shopping possibilities in the immediate vicinity. In the same building as the Station Apartments there is the restaurant Elios, which offers pizza, risotto, pasta and other dishes. Nearby you will also find the Grottino 1313 restaurant, the Prizzi Ristorante, the Unterlachenhof tavern or the Peperoncini bar.

If you go from the Station Apartments over the Langensandbrücke (bridge) to the Bundesplatz, you are in the middle of the new town of Lucerne, where you can find more restaurants, bars and shops (including a Migros and a Coop). From the apartments on the Tribschenstrasse you can reach the train station, the lake and the old town in a few minutes by public transport.
